Horrible experience with alaska from Costa Rica to Los Angeles

My son and I we had the worst traveling experience Ive been traveling all my life. This was by far the worst.

As soon as we arrive to the airport we were in line and we were picked out of the crowd. What do you have a banks randomly checked because theyre bored of history and they open my bag. We were in cars in Costa Rica for 28 days full of dirty clothes, and of the impeachment clause half of the suitcase everything fell out of it nonetheless, they picked it up search the bags as a big we didnt complain we did what was needed and we went and checked. Our bags went through security.

We got checked like everybody else patted down. Everything had no problem, and when we were about to get on the plane we were also pulled out of the crowd for the third time she was off, patted even they had me lift my shirt for took everything out of the bags that we were carrying was so embarrassing.

There was nothing there for them yet they kept the harassment because they wanted something to do shame on Alaska airlines that would allow these people to do that to their customers shame on you I traveled all over the world never ever this happened I was never ever harassed like that, and so disrespectfully that was by all means unnecessary and uncalled for we are tourists vacationers that was horrible horrible and sad!!! Preferred solution: That nobody gets harassed like I did this was shameful. We went through security like everybody else is yet we had to be searched three times just to give a handful of people a job that we customers have to pay for

We landed in Miami from Seattle SeaTac for our Honey moon. 11 day trip in south beach.

We left Seattle Friday 21th (MY BIRTHDAY) at 7:30am. The entire plans luggage was intentionally left in Seattle and not told until we landed in Miami. We were told we would have our bags delivered to us the next evening. The company van arrived to hour rental home without our bags!

Again... WITHOUT OUR BAGS! We have had to spend over $200 just in clothes and hygiene to get by the first 24 hours. We have been wearing the same underwear for going on our 3rd day now.

IM PISSED!! Real *** PISSED

I flew ak air on 7/22/23. Got from Anchorage to Seattle and was removed from connecting flight to Portland because they destroyed my firearms luggage.

Was threatened with physical harm, yelled at, harassed, abused, etc. REPEATEDLY. My halibut was stolen from my fish shipment. "Customer Service" doesn't give two spits about my claims.

Lost ~ $2K, now it's 2/21/24 and they still refuse. And they've done this to a loyal ak air customer of over 50 years, been flying with them since before the Alaska pipeline, even before there was ever a native painted on the tail. Time for Fed/State DOT, FAA, NTSB, TSA etc. formal complaints, possible legal remedies...

Sorry about your Honeymoon. On the bright side, hopefully you'll be telling that story to your Grandkids!

I was not pissed. I called the first number that I found. The young lady Ms. Pearl was a God send. She helped me with efficiency and a smile. I should have read the instructions carefully. She didn't make me feel bad, only cleared up my confusion and took care of my concerns. Alaska Customer Service is Excellent.

I called Alaska airline sales and was told that they would kindly refund me 50% of the price of my flight However it was not a cash refund it was A credit for only 25% of the total cost. When I complained about this the agent told me that was standard practice. Their shells department did not honor what they told me.

First, I had a mistake in my last name and Alaska Airlines was very kind to help me correct it. Later, I let my son, who lives in Seattle, know that I was going to visit him, which let me know that he was not going to be in the area on those days. So, there was no point in traveling. I wanted to change the ticket in his name so that he could come in November, but they told me that I couldn't put it in his name, that I could cancel the flight. And honestly, I recommend them more than five stars because I have never had such a beautiful experience as with Alaska Airlines. Thank you.

Gate and terminal for flight 477Q

The information I received was WRONG - I was told to go to Terminal A, and the plane left out of Terminal B - There was mixed information on the web that is why I called - It took me 20 min to get from one terminal to the other and I was nervous. It is hard to believe that I would be MISINFORMED

This will be my last time flying with you guys cause I was booking my sons flight and it wouldnt let me cause hes under age which he is 14 years old for the fare I found for $149 one way then I call customer service and try to book his flight and they added $150 more on top of the $149 for my sons fare. bunch of ripped off people smh very bad and poor service customer
